I have resigned DCNation, but one of the mods has actually "Denied", in their own words, my resignation. My resignation post has been deleted from OOC. So much for RL comes before game, huh?

ESPECIALLY in light of a response like this, I HAVE resigned. My canon characters are up for adoption, I am taking my journals with me, and my OCs as well.

I don't want to speak of this anymore. I love you guys, you all still have my friendship if you want it, and I hope all the best for the comm as a whole.

I don't understand it, but I'm very much going to miss you. It was terribly sad to hear. I'm not sure what happened. It's not my business to ask. It's just a really say day when a good writer feels she has to leave a fandom. Triple that when you're dealing with a Power Trio like your house is.

I monitor none of the gossip and stuff behind the scenes and actively tell Michelle NOT to let me in on it. I've plenty of other fandoms to work with if I want to start tossing napalm or picking sides. In many ways, I really don't want to know.

*hugs* Thank you, but really, the majority of this decision was personal reasons. I have many RL issues going on right now, and that paired with feeling like I was taking a hobby way too seriously meant I needed to get away. IMO, that only leads to undue personally-invested influence on the boards, arrogance, stress, egotism, etc, and that's not the sort of writer I want to be.

I haven't left fandom at all, I'm just not at DCNation. It's one of the best decisions I've made in this fandom. Though I miss the people, I feel stronger for it, so there's no need to feel like there's underlying drama that needs avoiding.

Fandom is a small world. I'm sure we'll see each other around, and I'm still pursuing writing independent of comms, and at a few others. I am so down with open sceneing for ANY interested. :D
